Boustead Plantations Berhad recently held a courtesy visit to the Malaysian Competition Commission (MyCC) in an effort to create a strong working relationship between the two parties.

The visit aimed towards establishing better cooperation in training, information dissemination and awareness with regard to the provisions under the Competition Commission Act 2010.

Representing BPlant’s delegation was our Head of Integrity Department Ibrahim A. Hamid. The group was welcomed by MyCC Chief Executive Officer Iskandar Ismail. Also present were MyCC Investigation and Enforcement Division Director Siti Maulana Manap and MyCC Communications and Advocacy Division Assistant Director Emeliadiana Alawi.

The visiting party was also briefed on the role of MyCC to regulate and advocate the competitive process in the country for the benefit of businesses, consumers and the economy.
