Following series of working visits last December to BPB Business Units in Sabah, the BPB Board of Directors and Management continued with the Sabah Agenda by visiting Segaria Business Unit last Saturday.

Segaria Business Unit is one of five BPB Business Unit in Sabah located near Semporna about two-hour drive from Tawau.

Those present during the visit were Maj. Gen. Dato’ Seri Khairuddin Abu Bakar (R), Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Aziah Ali, Dr. Salihin Abang as well as BPB Chief Financial Officer Mohamad Mahazir Mustaffa.   

During the visit, Board Members and Management were briefed on the business unit’s performance by Manager of Segaria Estate, Hamdan Hussin. The delegates were then taken for a tour in the field to witness the day to day operations of Segaria Estate and Segaria Palm Oil Mill.

The official visit by the Board Members is part of Reinventing Boustead Plantations strategy to directly communicate and engage with managers and workers on the ground.
