Did you know that a pint of blood can save three lives?

Realising the country’s urgent need to ensure adequate stock to support blood transfusions and save lives, our Trong Business Unit in northern peninsular collaborated with Hospital Taiping to organise a blood donation drive.

The programme, held at Trong Palm Oil Mill, saw our staff and workers fulfilling their social responsibilities by ensuring adequate blood supply for those in dire need.

The blood donated from the programme will be used to treat patients in Hospital Taiping and other hospitals in the region.

We are urging more to come forward and donate their blood to increase the supply. As the country continues in the battle against Covid-19 pandemic, donating and distributing blood to those in need is now more essential than ever.

The blood donation drive is part of BPB initiative towards becoming a sustainable technology-based plantation company by steadfastly upholding the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles throughout our operations.
