Boustead Plantations Berhad has reached yet another significant milestone in its pursuit of agricultural technology innovation with the exchange of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI).

This collaborative MOA, inked between BPlant’s research arm Boustead Life Sciences Research (BLSR) and MARDI recently, was exchanged by BPlant Chief Strategy Officer, Khairudin Ibrahim and MARDI Chairman Dr. Azman Ismail.

The exchange of documents, held in conjunction with Show-Tech MARDI 2023, was witnessed by Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu.

This partnership aims to deepen the technological bond between BLSR and MARDI, specifically in the MD2 Pineapple Tissue Culture planting material production research.

Together, we cultivate innovation and drive the agricultural landscape forward while bringing positive impact to our nation’s agro-food industry.
