In keeping with our social obligation to the community, Boustead Plantations Berhad (BPB) recently presented a zakat wakalah payment to 15 veterans of Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM). The payment presentation was held at the celebration of Karnival 100 Tahun Veteran ATM in Tawau, Sabah.

The payment was presented by BPB Segaria Estate Manager Mohd Hamdan Husin, accompanied by BPB Segaria Mill Manager Razif Rizuwan. Also present was Persatuan Veteran Angkatan Tentera Malaysia President Captain (Rtd) Datuk Sharuddin Omar.

BPB recognises and appreciates the role of ATM in safeguarding the safety and sovereignty of our country and its citizens.

Though a small gesture, we sincerely hope the zakat wakalah payment would help in assisting our army veterans who have made many sacrifices in sustaining the peace we enjoyed in our country.
