After Sabah, we continue our Management Retreat 2022 for our plantation operations in Peninsular Malaysia region to chart Boustead Plantations Berhad’s (BPlant) future direction.

The three-day programme which began today gathered more than 40 participants consisting members of senior management, heads of peninsular business unit and estate and mill managers.

BPlant Chief Executive Officer officiated the programme held at Royale Chulan Damansara in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

In his keynote address, Zainal Abidin said that an organisation has to adapt to its surrounding environment in order to succeed, urging BPlant’s managers and leaders to change their business approach based on current circumstances.

Zainal Abidin also emphasised on strengthening employees’ wellbeing, stating that the company will continue to put its focus on the subject to ensure a happier and sustainable workplace environment for all.

The management retreat is an annual programme held to cascade BPlant’s initiatives and direction, as well as deliberate on the company’s future strategies.
