The second day of our Management Retreat 2022 for peninsula region continued with a brainstorming session involving heads of business unit and estate and mill managers.

Participants were divided into groups to discuss, dissect and explore probable solutions on some of the challenges faced in the plantation industry.

Some of the topics put for discussion were on mechanisation and the principles of environmental, social and governance.

Through the programme, participants were also provided insights on various topics presented by head of departments as part of knowledge sharing.

Opening the session was Head of Sustainability and Safety Department Azmariah Mohamed who spoke on sustainability fortification, followed by a presentation on industry megatrend by Head of Strategy and Corporate Development Khairudin Ibrahim.

The knowledge sharing session continued with a discussion on good agricultural practices by Head of Plantation Planning and Monitoring Anuar Semail, and plantation digitalisaton by Head of Technology Abdullah Zahri Abdul Azizis.
