Entering into the spirit of Ramadan, we continue to share the blessings of the holy month with “Jelajah Kasih Ramadan Boustead Plantations Berhad” – another community outreach initiative with an aim to bring smiles to the disadvantaged in our communities.

Jelajah Kasih Ramadan went to Negri Sembilan on Sunday in providing care and assistance to the locals in need.

BPB Chairman Dato’ Ismail Lasim, together with our CEO Zainal Abidin Shariff and CFO Mohamad Mahazir Mustaffa, presented wakalah (zakat assistance) and food baskets to more than 30 recipients in Juasseh, Pilah, Senaling and Johol.

Though a small gesture, we sincerely hope the contribution would lessen their burden and helped them in making the necessary preparations for Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

In line with our commitment to the principles of ESG, Jelajah Kasih Ramadan will be going to other parts of the country to extend our helping hand to those in need.
