Smallholders make up an integral part of Malaysia’s oil palm plantation ecosystem. As one of the major plantation companies in the country, we realise the impact we can bring towards smallholders’ development.

Our operations nationwide create business opportunities for the smallholders. In supporting them, a portion of our fresh fruit bunches (FFB) are obtained from the smallholders in areas where we operate.

While some smallholders fared better, many of them rely on their yield as the main source of income to feed their families and pay their workers. Supporting them through FFB purchase ensures the sustainability of their plantation business.

The ESG principles that we strongly adhered to will continue to be our driving force in providing the necessary assistance to our plantation neighbours.
