At Boustead Plantations Berhad, we remain adamant in keeping our workplace healthy, conducive and sustainable. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic poses a new challenge for us as we try to mitigate the transmission and ensuring the safety of our employees and workers from the virus.
 
While vaccination is the solution to curb the spread of Covid-19, some of our estates and mills workers in hard-to-reach areas were devoid of access to the supply, making them highly vulnerable to the infection.
 
Realising the reality, we have collaborated with local health agencies and other government organisations to provide the much-needed vaccination access for our workers, especially those stationed in remote areas.
 
Tabung Tentera Terengganu Estate, one of our 45 estates operating nationwide, became the first estate in BPB to have reached a 100% vaccination rate among workers. Furthermore, our series of vaccination drive has significantly improved the vaccination rate of our workers in estates and mills.
 
Providing vaccination access to our workers does not only provide the necessary health securities to our most valuable asset, but also contribute in our fight against Covid-19.
