Delegates from Boustead Plantations Berhad (BPB) today held a visit to Boustead Life Sciences Research (BLSR) in Semenyih, Selangor to gain better insight on the research that are currently being undertaken as well as on the facility’s operational aspects.

Delegation from BPB was represented by Group Chairman YB Dato’ Haji Ismail Haji Lasim, accompanied by BPB Chief Executive Officer Zainal Abidin Shariff. Also present was BSLR Manager Nik Farhana Nadiah Nik Mustapha.

BLSR, known for its expertise in tissue culture research, could provide the necessary knowledge for BPB to further expand and futureproof our business operations in agriculture.

In line with the Reinventing Boustead Strategy, BPB will continue to tap on advanced technologies in ensuring the sustainability of our operations. Input from the visit would allow BPB to better strategise our future planning to put the Group on a stronger footing in the plantation industry.
