At approximately 815 hectares, Chamek Estate may be one of our smaller assets, but it holds great potential when properly managed.

Leading the charge in unlocking that potential is Estate Manager Mohd Khairul Amri Ahmad Shukri, who at just 36 years old, is among the youngest estate managers at BPlant.

During a visit, BPlant CEO Datuk Zulkarnain Md Eusope described Chamek as a valuable training ground for the manager to demonstrate his capabilities. He also offered sound advice, reminding Khairul and his team to not only excel in leadership but also possess a deep understanding of the technicalities of estate operations.

The visit to Chamek was part of BPlant’s management tour of the southern operating units. Also present, BPlant Chairman Lieutenant General Datuk Ahmad Norihan Jalal (R).
