BPlant Chairman Lt. Gen. Datuk Ahmad Norihan Jalal (R) recently visited our TRP Estate and Mill in Taiping, Perak, with the aim of gaining deeper insights into our operations in the region.

Over the two-day visit, the Chairman delved into key operational matters, including production efficiency, sustainability practices, and ongoing challenges faced by the estate. The visit also served as an opportunity to foster stronger engagement with the dedicated team on the ground, acknowledging their relentless efforts in ensuring operational success.

In his address, Datuk Ahmad Norihan emphasised BPlant’s critical role as a subsidiary of LTAT in maximising operational capacity to deliver value to its stakeholders — particularly the armed forces members.

He also highlighted the need for estate management to embrace innovation and adapt to the industry’s fast-paced changes, ensuring BPlant remains competitive and future-ready.
