From 7 to 11 September 2022, Boustead Plantations Berhad (BPlant) Chief Executive Officer Zainal Abidin Shariff held a work visit to Sabah to get an in-depth knowledge on our plantation operations in the region.

The five-day programme saw Zainal Abidin visited several estates and mills under the purview of Tawai Business Unit and Segamaha-Segaria Business Unit.

The visit provided an avenue for the management to oversee progress and performance of each estate and mill, as well as learning the limitations and challenges in the operational line.

Among the agenda include a visit to our replanting site and performance review discussion with Sabah operational heads. The visit also provided a chance for Zainal Abidin to get acquainted with BPlant management, staff and workers in Sabah.

Input gathered from the visit would allow us to properly assess our opportunities in crafting a better strategy to drive our business performance further.
