Recently, BPlant Chief Executive Officer Datuk Zulkarnain Md Eusope conducted his official visit to our Sabah operations from June 18 to 21. This visit marked his first work trip to Sabah since his appointment as BPlant CEO on June 1.

The visit aimed to provide comprehensive insights into BPlant’s extensive operations in Sabah, focusing on our plantation assets in Telupid, Sandakan and Lahad Datu. Datuk Zulkarnain received detailed briefings on the daily activities of the estates and palm oil mills in the region and engaged with the staff and workers on-site.

The four-day itinerary included visits to six estates and two palm oil mills, emphasising the importance of on-the-ground engagement. Following this, the engagement agenda continued with a visit to BPlant’s Nak Estate and Palm Oil Mill in Sandakan on July 6.

Accompanying the visiting entourage were BPlant Chief Operating Officer Anuar Semail, Chief People Officer Mohd Fadzly Mahyuddin and BPlant Sabah Regional Head Faridan Othman.
