Boustead Plantations Berhad (BPlant) on Saturday presented a business zakat of RM295,247 to the state of Perak.
BPlant director Izaddeen Daud presented the business zakat to the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah in a ceremony at Istana Iskandariah, Kuala Kangsar, Perak.
The payment of the business zakat will be utilised by the Majlis Agama Islam dan ‘Adat Melayu Perak to assist the eligible zakat recipients or asnaf in the state. May this effort bring great benefits towards community development in Perak.
