Boustead Plantations Berhad (BPlant) today presented business zakat of RM307,549 to Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Johor (MAINJ).

The payment was presented by BPlant Chief People Officer Mohd Fadzly Mahyuddin to MAINJ Adviser Dato’ Dr Nooh Gadot during a business zakat presentation ceremony in Johor Bahru, Johor. Also present was Johor Deputy Mufti Dato’ Ahmad Faisal Mohamed.

The business zakat will be utilised by MAINJ to assist the eligible zakat recipients or asnaf in the state. May this effort bring great benefits towards community development in Johor.
