BPB fulfils business zakat obligation in Sabah

Boustead Plantations Berhad today made its business zakat payment of RM425,988 to Lembaga Zakat Negeri Kedah (LZNK).
In a ceremony held at LZNK head office in Alor Setar, BPB Director Datuk Shah Headan Ayoob Hussain Shah presented the payment to LZNK Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Syeikh Zakaria Othman.
The payment to LZNK is part of the RM3.2 million business zakat obligation for financial year 2021 that is paid to zakat institutions nationwide.
BPB ensures that it fulfils its zakat obligation which in turn support communities in need, especially amongst the asnaf.
