Boustead Plantations Berhad today held a ‘doa selamat’ and Yasin recitation ceremony in appreciation of company’s 2021 performance as well as praying for the wellbeing of the company and its employees as it embarks on another journey this year.

The online ceremony, led by Abhanizam Abdullah from Finance Department, was joined by BPB CEO Zainal Abidin Shariff and more than 100 participants from the headquarters, estates and mills nationwide.

In his remarks, Zainal Abidin said challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and irregular weather condition would continue to pose a risk to the plantation industry.

Emphasising on the needs to balance the physical and spiritual aspects, Zainal Abidin said all efforts that are being done for the company must be accompanied with a ‘doa’ or prayers.
