Unusual torrential rains in early March have led to flooding in various parts of Peninsular Malaysia, displacing thousands of people. Several of our staff in Johor were not spared from the disaster.

We mobilised a flood relief team to our operations in Bekok and Kluang to assist our staff who were directly affected by the recent floods. The relief mission is part of our corporate social responsibility effort in caring for the welfare of our staff.

Present at the mission were BPlant Head of Chief Operating Officer’s Office Rozaini Abd Ghani and Head of Corporate Communications Hazranshah Abd Hamid, who delivered monetary assistance to the affected staff.

We stand in solidarity with the victims of the flood catastrophe. May those impacted be given the strength to overcome this unfortunate event.
