17 January 2022As we embark on a journey to become a sustainable, technology-based plantations company, synchronisation among employees is crucial to ensure a uniformed pace towards a common objective.
In realising the aspiration, a townhall session with Chief Executive Officer Zainal Abidin Shariff was held today to establish better coordination among staff and strategising means of future-proofing our business. The hybrid session saw the participation from all BPB employees, from the senior management team down to our operations in estates and mills nationwide.
In his presentation, Zainal Abidin provided a round-up of company’s performance, acknowledging some of the challenges that BPB had endured as well as strength to be leveraged to keep BPB on top of the game.
In the session, Zainal Abidin also lined-up several key focus for 2022, emphasising on digital and technology integration in plantation, and the importance of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles in our sustainable operations.
We have consistently maintained a tradition of excellence throughout decades of our operation. We intend to keep it that way.
From the staff in HQ to the workers in estates and mills, let us give our best effort and dedication to make 2022 our year!
