Boustead Plantations Berhad today presented a business zakat payment of RM150,000 to Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Sembilan (MAINS).

The payment was presented by BPB Chairman YB Dato’ Ismail Lasim to Negeri Sembilan Zakat Department Director Dato’ Nor Azmi Musa at a ceremony held at MAINS head office in Seremban. Witnessing the exchange was BPB CEO Zainal Abidin Shariff.

The business zakat payment to MAINS was part of the RM3.2 million business zakat obligation BPB is paying to zakat institutions nationwide for financial year 2021.

Fulfilling our zakat obligation supports communities in need, especially among the asnaf, who are severely affected by Covid-19 pandemic.
