Boustead Plantations Berhad today held an online training for estates and mills operatives on seedlings management at nursery.

The training, conducted by Applied Agricultural Resources Sdn Bhd, focused on proper management of seedlings in producing crops of higher quality and quantity – covering aspects of watering, manuring and pest and disease control.

Participants of the training included Heads of Business Unit, estates and mills manager and agronomist.

BPB CEO Zainal Abidin Shariff in his opening remarks called for all participants to take advantage of the training session as the knowledge gained would contribute to yield performance.

He took the opportunity to share his pantun with participants:

Ada mata disamping telinga,
Untuk melihat yang dituju,
Ilmu itu untuk yang ditimba,
Bukan semata dibiarkan berlalu.

Kecil-kecil si ikan teri,
Sangat banyak dalam kali,
