Boustead Plantations Berhad (BPB) yesterday presented a business zakat of RM296,623 to the state of Perak.
The handover was completed by BPB director Maj. Gen. Dato’ Seri Hj. Khairuddin Abu Bakar (R) J.P. to Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah.
May this effort benefit the communities in Perak.
The payment of business zakat is part of BPB social agenda to assist, develop and empower local communities, in line with the principles of ESG.
