BPB provides competency training for estate supervisors
16 June 2022Upholding basic rights for plantation workers
20 June 2022We are aware of the occupational risks faced by our staff given the nature of the industry that we are in. Thus, we have implemented policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and worker.
Recently, our Segamaha Mill in Sabah conducted a medical surveillance for its staff to assess their health condition.
Medical surveillance is the monitoring of a person for the purpose of identifying changes in health status due to occupational exposure to chemicals hazardous to health.
The surveillance, conducted by Occupational Health Doctor, involved mill workers that were highly exposed to occupational hazards such as welder, effluent attendant and lab assistant.
At Boustead Plantations, the health and safety of our employees remain our number one priority.
