Boustead Plantations Berhad (BPB) today organised an Analyst Briefing on the Group Financial Performance for the period ended 31 March 2022.
The one and a half hours session which was held virtually was attended by more than 50 participants.
The session saw BPB Chief Executive Officer Zainal Abidin Shariff shared at length on BPB’s key financial achievements and performance for the first quarter of 2022, which recorded a commendable gain from the same quarter last year.
Zainal Abidin also provided insights on the company’s ongoing and future planning to improve its yield performance, particularly on the integration of mechanisation and digitalisation in plantation.
The briefing was also joined by BPB Chief Financial Officer Mohamad Mahazir Mustaffa, Head of Strategy and Corporate Development Khairuddin Ibrahim, Head of Plantation Planning and Monitoring Anuar Semail and Head of Engineering Mokhtar Bidin.
Among analysts present at the briefing were Ong Chee Ting (Maybank), Hoe Lee Leng (RHB), Tengku Ahmad Sean Zaid Tengku Mudzaffar (KWAP), Jack Lai Yuan Khai (Kenanga) and Ivy Ng Lee Fang (CGS-CIMB). The session saw analysts posing questions on BPB’s operations, challenges and outlook.
