Boustead Plantations Berhad (BPlant) today held its 110th Annual General Meeting (AGM). Prioritising the safety and health of the shareholders and employees, the AGM was held virtually with shareholders participating via live streaming.

BPlant Non-Independent Non-Executive Director Izaddeen Daud chaired the meeting, which was also attended by other members of the Board of Directors.

BPlant reviewed the financial year ended 31 December 2022 at the AGM, while also elaborating on prospects for 2023 and beyond.

A total of 817 shareholders attended the AGM. All seven resolutions tabled at the AGM were passed by the shareholders.

Izaddeen in his remarks stated BPlant has embarked on various initiatives to strengthen operational efficiencies, while also laying the foundation to future-proof the company.

“As we continue to focus on operational improvements, adopting technological advancements and upholding best environmental, social and governance practices, we will be able to realise our aspiration of becoming a leading plantation company,” he said.
